Molly Warnock is assistant professor in the Department of Art History and the Humanities Center at The Johns Hopkins University. Her research and teaching span topics in European and North American art and critical theory from early twentieth-century modernism to the present, with a special interest in the stakes and claims of abstraction. She is the author of Penser la Peinture: Simon Hantaï (2012).
