Sayan Parial is a contractual teacher in the Department of English at Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, India, where he is also pursuing his PhD. He teaches courses on Renaissance Literature, Shakespeare Studies, Romanticism, and Modernism. His research focuses on Partition Studies, Sensory History, Environmental Studies, and Performance Studies. He has published in various peer-reviewed journals and contributed book chapters to prestigious publishers such as Routledge and Bloomsbury. He has delivered invited talks at renowned international institutions including the National Maritime Museum Greenwich, King’s College London, and the University of Manchester. Additionally, he is an active theatre practitioner at the Drama Club at University of Gour Banga, India.
