Jennifer Wagner-Lawlor is a professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State University. She has published extensively on utopian and dystopian literature and theory, feminist literature, and the materiality of plastic and the philosophical concept of plasticity, particularly in relation to narrative and the arts. She is currently working on a book entitled Becoming Plastic. Wagner-Lawlor is Editor of Utopian Studies: The Journal of the Society of Utopian Studies.
