Andrew Hui is Associate Professor of Humanities at Yale-NUS College, Singapore. He is the author of The Poetics of Ruins in Renaissance Literature (2016) and A Theory of the Aphorism from Confucius to Twitter (2019). He is at work on The Renaissance Imaginary Library: A Reader’s Guide and Why Do We Go to Zoos and Museums: A Cultural Inquiry.
