Andrew Pendakis is associate professor of Theory and Rhetoric at Brock University. His writings on topics ranging from dialectics to plastics have appeared in South Atlantic Quarterly, Jacobin, Third Text, e-flux, Critical Inquiry, and Postcolonial Studies. He is coeditor of Contemporary Marxist Theory: A Reader (2014), The Bloomsbury Companion to Marx (2019), and the (soon to be released) The John Hopkins Guide to Critical and Cultural Theory. He is presently completing a book entitled Living A Marxist Life.
