Angela Dalle Vacche is a professor of film studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. She has written several books and published numerous articles. Her areas of inquiry are the historiography of classical film theory, history in film, cinema and painting, color in film, the museum film, film and science, and early cinema and women. Currently, she is completing Andre Bazin's Film Theory: Art, Science, Religion (forthcoming).
