Annie Greene

Annie Greene is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the History Department at Skidmore College. She studies the multilingual cultural production of Iraqi intellectuals of all religious backgrounds in the modern Ottoman Empire (nineteenth-twentieth centuries). She has published articles on Iraqi Jews and the Ottoman press, and is currently working on a monograph about the Iraqi Arab Renaissance as part of an Ottoman intellectual phenomenon.
