Deidre Lynch is Ernest Bernbaum Professor of English Literature at Harvard University, and co-convenor there of the Novel Theory seminar which meets under the auspices of the Mahindra Humanities Center. Her most recent books include Loving Literature: A Cultural History (2015), The Unfinished Book (coedited with Alexandra Gillespie, 2021), and The Norton Anthology of English Literature: The Romantic Period (coedited with Eric Eisner, 2024).
