Diana Garvin is an assistant professor of Italian at the University of Oregon and author of Feeding Fascism: the Politics of Women's Food Work (2022). Alongside writing on everyday life in Italy and East Africa under Mussolini's dictatorship, she is finishing a book on the global history of Italian coffee.
