Elizabeth Carolyn Miller

Elizabeth Carolyn Miller is professor of English and chair of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at the University of California, Davis, where she teaches classes in literature and the environmental humanities. She is the author of Extraction Ecologies and the Literature of the Long Exhaustion (2021), Slow Print: Literary Radicalism and Late Victorian Print Culture (2013), and Framed: The New Woman Criminal in British Culture at the fin de siècle (2008), and her work has been supported by Guggenheim, National Endowment for the Humanities, and American Council of Learned Societies fellowships.
