Heather Love

Heather Love teaches English and gender studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the author of Feeling Backward: Loss and the Politics of Queer History (2009), Underdogs: Social Deviance and Queer Theory (2021) and coedited with James F. English, Literary Studies and Human Flourishing (2023). She is currently working, with support from the Guggenheim foundation, on a new project concerning the uses of the personal in queer writing, entitled "To Be Real."
