Ioana Danielescu is an MA student in the American Studies program within the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania. Her areas of interest include Southern Gothic literature, body studies, anthropology, and media studies. She is currently working on representations of the monstrous child in Southern Gothic literature.
