Irving Goh is President’s Assistant Professor of Literature at the National University of Singapore. He is the author of The Reject: Community, Politics, and Religion after the Subject (2014), which won the MLA 23rd Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for French and Francophone Studies. His second monograph, L’Existence Prépositionnelle, was recently published in 2019. He is currently working on a new project on genres of failure across 20th and 21st century French thought, contemporary literature, and recent affect theory.
