James Berger is a senior lecturer in American Studies and English at Yale University. He is author of After the End: Representations of Post-Apocalypse (1999); The Disarticulate: Language, Disability, and the Narratives of Modernity (2014); Prior (a book of poems, 2013); and is the conduit and midwife of The OBU Manifestos (2017). His current work examines the possibility of imagining a future.
