Jeff Menne is professor of Screen Studies and Head of the English Department at Oklahoma State University. He is the author of Francis Ford Coppola (2014) and Post-Fordist Cinema: Hollywood Auteurs and the Corporate Counterculture (2019), and is coeditor of Film and the American Presidency (2015). His work has appeared in Representations, Cinema Journal, Post45, Modern Fiction Studies, Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. His current book project, The Avant-Garde University, examines the relationship between avant-garde artists and the postwar university.
