Laura Lee is an associate professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University. Her research centers on cinema and contemporary visual culture, with special emphasis on Japan. She is the author of Japanese Cinema Between Frames (2017) and the recently completed book Worlds Unbound: the Art of teamLab (forthcoming 2021).
