Marjorie Levinson is F. L. Huetwell Professor of English at the University of Michigan. She is the author of several monographs on Romantic period poetry. Her most recent book, Thinking through Poetry: Field Reports on Romantic Lyric (2018), tracks a transition from sociocultural critique to models derived from the postclassical physical and biological sciences.
