Michael Dango is a postdoctoral fellow in the Humanities and English at the University of Chicago. His book in progress, Styles of Repair, explores how emerging styles in art and literature respond to contemporary anxieties, from environmental pollution to political polarization. Writings from this project and others have appeared in Modern Fiction Studies, Novel, Post45, and Social Text.
