Michael Maizels is an art historian by other means. He has written five academic books (one forthcoming) and published more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles on topics spanning media and performance art, tax law, and the philosophy of mathematics. He is now the Interim Head Research at Adim, an Andreesen Horowitz portfolio company founded by actor Rob McElhenney. He is a former affiliate at the metaLAB, an interdisciplinary think tank at Harvard University. He holds a PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of Virginia as well as an MBA from MIT Sloan.
