Mikkel Flohr is a Carlsberg Foundation postdoctoral research fellow and lecturer at the department of Social Science and Business at Roskilde University. His research takes place at the intersection of social and political theory, the history of ideas, and historical sociology. He has previously worked on Marx and Marxisms, critical theory, political theology, populism and democracy, and states of exception. He is currently writing a book on Marx’s critique of political theology and coediting a special issue of Political Theology on the same topic. His work has appeared in Theory, Culture & Society, Distinktion, Politics & Society, Telos, New Political Science, Theory and Event, European Journal of Sociology, Contemporary Political Theory, and Rethinking Marxism.
