Peter Goodrich is professor of law, and Director of the Program in Law and Humanities at Cardozo School of Law, New York, and visiting professor of law at NYU Abu Dhabi. Committed to proboscation in its various modes, he works on the grammatology of law, and on film, image, and governance. Recent books include Legal Emblems and the Art of Law and, as editor, The Early Modern Age (1500-1680) in the multi volume Bloomsbury Cultural History of Law. He is currently working on a study of Judge Schreber, possibly to be titled Translaw.
