Rocco Rubini is Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Chicago. His teaching and research interests focus on Italian intellectual history and theater. He is the author of The Other Renaissance: Italian Humanism between Hegel and Heidegger (The University of Chicago Press, 2014) and editor of a companion volume of primary sources, The Renaissance from an Italian Perspective: An Anthology of Essays, 1860-1968 (Longo, 2014).
