Sabrina Negri (Ph.D. 2017, Cinema and Media Studies, University of Chicago) is an assistant professor in the Department of Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is a graduate of the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, N.Y., and the recipient of the 2009 Haghefilm Foundation Fellowship. Between 2009 and 2012, she worked as a preservationist at the film archive of the National Cinema Museum in Turin, Italy. Her current work focuses on the digital preservation of analog moving images and the evidentiary value of film materials.
