Tobias Huttner is a PhD candidate in English at Johns Hopkins University and currently works as an Associate Editor at ELH. His research interests include poetry and poetics, genre history, political economy, and critical race theory. His dissertation examines the use of minor, neglected, and hybrid genres in North American poetry, arguing for their significance as means of mediating the experience of capitalist social contradiction across the long twentieth century.
