Travis Vogan is associate professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Department of American Studies at the University of Iowa. Vogan is the author of Keepers of the Flame: NFL Films and the Rise of Sports Media (2014), ESPN: The Making of a Sports Media Empire (2015), ABC Sports: The Rise and Fall of Network Sports Television (2018), and The Boxing Film: A Cultural and Transmedia History (2020).
