Feng Dong is associate professor of English at Qingdao University. He is the author of Desire and Infinity in W. S. Merwin’s Poetry (2021) and Mirror in the Deep Sea: Paul Celan’s Poetics of Strangeness (2021). In 2023–24, he is a visiting scholar in the German program at Johns Hopkins University, writing a book on the philosophical meanings of Paul Celan’s poetry.
