Feng Dong is associate professor of English at Qingdao University and a former visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University. He has authored Desire and Infinity in W. S. Merwin’s Poetry (2021) and Mirror in the Deep Sea: Paul Celan’s Poetics of Strangeness (2021). He is currently writing a book on the philosophical meanings of Paul Celan’s poetry.
