Feng Dong is an associate professor of English at Qingdao University. He has authored Desire and Infinity in W. S. Merwin’s Poetry (2021) and has a book titled Mirror of the Deep Sea: Paul Celan’s Poetics of Strangeness currently under review. His recent research focuses on the conception of poetic intelligence and its relation to Neoplatonism and Gnosticism. He also writes poetry under the name Peter Feng.
